Producepak Fresh Produce AI for packing fruit and vegetables

A packhouse runs on timing. Pak-Bot keeps the office, the cool rooms and the packing line looking at the same live numbers, so old fruit gets packed first and orders leave complete.

A packing day with Pak-Bot

  1. Before the shift

The packhouse manager asks what raw material tomorrow's orders need and what is short. Producepak reverse-calculates it from the orders; Pak-Bot lists the gaps.

  2. Intake

Deliveries are scanned in with grower and traceability data. Inspections with photos are linked to each lot, and a failure alerts the buyer and grower straight away.

  3. Packing

Inventory is scanned into batches. If someone picks a newer lot while an older one waits in the cooler, Pak-Bot flags it at the moment of movement.

  4. Output

Batch outputs print case, consumer unit and pallet labels. Unusual waste in a batch triggers an alert to selected staff.

  5. Dispatch

Pallets are scanned onto orders; a wrong pallet sounds an alarm. Invoice, BOL and shipping documents are ready when the order is filled.

Fewer losses from old stock

Most inventory reports tell you fruit was old after it spoiled. Pak-Bot looks forward: it combines current packing speed with inventory age to warn that a lot will expire before it can be packed or sold.

Ask it directly, in the words you would use on the floor:

  • What will expire before Friday at our current pack rate?
  • Oldest strawberries in Cooler 1
  • Which batches had above-normal waste this week?

Hardware stays simple

Producepak runs on the phones, tablets and PCs you have. Barcode scanners in keyboard mode, weigh scales and optional RFID readers on forklifts all feed the same data Pak-Bot answers from.

Grower payments, pack-out summaries and statements are calculated from that data too, so growers get their numbers sooner.
